About GravelCrew
The GravelCrew joined the rally community
in 1998 and has already made a name for itself within the professional
rally community with a 1st place in the 2003 Western States Rally Championships
and several 1,2,3 place titles in various rally cross, rally sprints
and forest rally events making the GravelCrew the winningest team in
California. During this time the GravelCrew has also served as driving
instructors for the California Rally Series.
The GravelCrew is the youth and future of rally. GravelCrew is made
up of young rally like minded enthusiast looking to grow the market
and brand this new rally brigade as rallying fits the attitude of today¹s
youth.
Ever since the GravelCrew touched the California Rally Series everyone
knew at that moment a changing of the guard was at hand from the elder
rally community to the youthful hands of the GravelCrew. Everyone in
the So-Cal rally community knows that the GravelCrew represents the
youth segment of rally in addition the GravelCrew dominated the rally
cross series for three years straight, undefeated and now unchallenged.
For the California Rally Series, it seemed natural to join forces with
this new rally youth brigade. May 15th 2004 was the first event to be
promoted and operated by the GravelCrew. With little time to promote
to the rally community 43 cars participated in the Tombstone event and
at the same time the average age was 21.4 years YOUNG! The GravelCrew
has single handedly reshaped and re-birthed the So-Cal rally landscape.
