From the creators and organizers of GCRallyX comes a new “Advanced” RallyX series dedicated to the Rally 4WD class called “R4”. The GCRallyX organizers have taken a few years break from organizing events to focus on full motor sport programs fielding cars in the Rally America series, as well as the PWRC on the world’s stage. After seeing what is transpiring at the top level of rally along with the growth of grassroots based rally GCRallyX felt it was time for a come back. With a primary goal of offering more seat time, the R4 events will be limited to cars that are AWD/4WD that run on competition rally tires only. There are 3 events that are in the works as of this point, 2 of which will be held at the Lake Elsinore MX park, in Lake Elsinore California. The first of the 2 events held on May 24th and June 28th , both will be invite only events, and will require an entry fee of $80. If you have a Car that is eligible for competition (see Rules) and are interested in competing drop us an email and we will respond with a form for you to complete. Once the form is completed and received, an email response will delivered to you.

This is a brand new type of event that has never been attempted before, and will be a work in progress working up to the 09 season which should be 6-8 events strong. The primary goal for the R4 event series is to deliver the maximum amount of seat time for a focused group of competitors and build media and hype around the sport of rally through any and all available media outlets. The level of competition should be intense and very spectator friendly.

R4 will be teaming with www.dirtyimpreza.com in which you will find a forum dedicated to the series. This along with the www.gcrallyx.com website will be your primary source of information. The GCRallyX website will contain a technical links section which will help guide you through the process of preparing a car for competition in R4 events through the Dirty Impreza forum community. The GCRallyX site will also have a competitor section which will link to the Dirty Impreza “Member Journals” should a competitor decide to start and maintain one.
